Hello everyone!  (or just myself depending on if anyone ever reads this blog)  I use to blog all the time on livejournal, but that was just about my daily life, and that blog kind of died off circa 2004.  Since then, I haven't blogged much, but I have read the blogs of a lot of other people and I pretty much watch youtube vlogs on the daily.  Most of what I watch on youtube are beauty vlogs.

For the past year or so I've been extra into beauty, and more recently I became obsessed with nail polish.  I've always loved painting my nails, but over the past few months, my nail polish collection has exploded.  I blame Pinterest. ;)  I've been posting my nails on facebook and Pinterest the past couple of months, and I finally decided that it was time to start a nail polish blog! whoo hoo!

Here are some of my recent manis. :)

I absolutely loved this one below. I used Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Lacey Lilac and Milani One Coat Glitter in Twinkle. Glitter gradients are one of my favorite looks!

Here is another glitter gradient I did recently that was inspired by a pink and gold glitter look on pinterest. I believe I used Nicole by OPI's Kimpletely in Love with Wet n Wild's Color Icon in 24 Carats.

I picked up this sparkly polish at Icing a couple of weeks ago.  It is probably the most sparkly polish I own.  I'm sad that the picture doesn't do it justice.  It is called Glamorous. :)

I did this next look for Easter, and I got tons of compliments on it!  I used Sally Hansen Exreme Nails in White On and Lacey Lilac, Revlon's Sassy (the green one), Wet n Wild megalast in I Need a Refresh-Mint (the bluish one), and Essie's Mod Square (the pink one).  The glitter used is American Apparel's Glitter in Galaxy. :)

The last one for today is my Nail of The Day!  I'm wearing Revlon's Popular (previously known as Starry Pink).  Its a pale pink with silver micro and larger hex glitter. This is my second time wearing it, and while it is growing on me, it still doesn't make me all that happy.  I think I'm wearing 3 coats.  Maybe next time I'll just try one. :)

A few more words before I go, over the past few weeks, I've realized just how bad my cuticles are and how dry my skin is on my hands (I blame work).  I've purchased a couple of products that I hope will help with that.  I guess we will see, huh?  I also plan to improve my overall application of polish, stamping, stickers, etc. I get a bit impatient sometimes. Maybe posting my pictures will help!

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Tip I learned from my fav polish vlogger: I've been trying to use my pitifully uncoordinated left hand more in everyday life (brushing my teeth, picking up stuff, etc) so that I get better at painting/art with it. Any sort of practice with it helps!

  2. I like the purple glitter gradient here :)
