Rainbow Gradients on Grey

Hi! I hope everyone is having a lovely Thursday. I am trying my best to enjoy this lovely day before I have to go back to work tomorrow.  Our pool is almost ready for swimming, and I can't wait!

For today's manicures, I did a look that was inspired by something I saw on Pinterest.  The Nailasaurus did a grey nail with rainbow glitter, and I have been wanting to recreate it for a very long time.  So, yesterday when I was at Ulta, I found a beautiful grey by Essie, and I immediately knew what I wanted to do with it.

For the first set of pictures I did my version of the Pinterest look, and then I decided to do a little something different for the next set. I used 2 coats of Essie's Cocktail Bling on both hands.  Then for the glitter, I did a gradient using a sponge and applied both KleanColor's Afternoon Picnic and Nicole by OPI's Rainbow in the S-Kyle.

On my other hand, I tried doing the same look and colors, but with dots instead of glitter. :)  I used my m.a.s.h. dotting tools and several bright polishes to create this rainbow dot look.  Then I added a topcoat for shine.

I'm really glad I found this grey in the Essie brand because I feel like the smaller brush that Essie uses makes it easier to apply the polish without making an outrageous mess. :)  Anyway, I hope you enjoyed and thanks for stopping by!!
